Cashmerette Patterns celebrates curves, confidence, and limitless style. Created by a plus size seamstress, our sewing patterns are made exclusively for sizes 12-28 and bust sizes C-H. We believe the notion that beauty can be measured in numbers is way past its expiration date—and that we are undeniable proof. We design modern, elegant sewing patterns that make you look amazing, just as you are. You deserve a wardrobe that exudes personality and style, and you are just the person to make it.
Named is a Helsinki-based indie pattern label founded in 2013, by sisters Saara and Laura Huhta. The story of Named started from the dream of turning a passion into a career, designing an own collection of clothing patterns felt like a natural way to implement both sisters’ love for clothes, fashion, design and DIY. The duo wants to encourage fellow fashion lovers to give sewing their own garments a try. During the six years in business, Named has designed nine independent pattern collections and a sewing book Breaking the Pattern. Named has also designed patterns for a Finnish crafts magazine Kotiliesi Käsityö.
Named garments are a combination of Scandinavian clean-lined simplicity and interesting details. The aim of the collections is to bring a new perspective to making one’s own clothes and to support ethical and ecological consuming in contrast to a clothing industry focused on fast fashion. Self-made clothing also allows for freedom of choice; by choosing one’s colours and materials and by changing garment details, the customer can be part of the design process. If dressing is a way to express oneself then self-made clothes are self-expression at its best.

Sew Sew Sew
I’m Katie and I own and run Sew Sew Sew. I live in North Yorkshire with my husband and our two gorgeous boys. My love of sewing has come from my mum, who is a very talented sewer, machine embroiderer and quilter. I didn’t really start to sew until I moved away from home which was very silly as it would have saved countless phone calls to mum with sewing problems! I love all kinds of sewing, particularly dressmaking, making roman blinds and other items for our home, and making keepsake teddy bears. I set up Sew Sew Sew as I was finding it very difficult to find good quality and reasonably priced dressmaking fabrics where I live in North Yorkshire. We stock a range of beautiful dressmaking fabrics and have new ones arriving regularly.Beyond Measure is an exclusive online shop that sells beautiful hand-made gifts, tools and objects for makers, with a particular focus on textiles. Chosen with care, shipped worldwide.
